Alvino’s Banana Sorbet! What I miss about Daet, Camarines Norte

Aside from the surfing waves of Bagasbas Beach in Daet, Camarines Norte in Bicol, one thing I miss about this place is Alvino’s Banana Sorbet!

Alvino’s is a casual dining restaurant located at Bagasbas Road, Bgy. Borabod, Daet.  They serve a wide variety of Filipino and some Italian Dishes with a Pinoy twist but one of the things that I really love is their sorbet!  Their banana sorbet was so good and it was the richest sorbet I’ve ever tasted.  Sweet banana with probably a hint of vanilla extract so refreshing for a tropical weather.  The sorbet is molded into dice and served with barquillos.  It just perfectly melts in your mouth 🙂  Flavors vary from different tropical fruits, one of the best seller is the Buko Sorbet!

Their sorbet costs just less than a hundred bucks

Best seller Binalot Dishes

Lechon Manok and Bicol Express

They have a variety of food here; pizza, pasta, salad and grilled food.  The ambiance is nice, with high ceiling and open space .

a meal per person could cost around 60-150 pesos

From Bagasbas beach you can ride a tricycle and ask the manong driver to take you to Alvino’s Restaurant.  There are also a lot of other restaurants to choose from within Daet proper.
